Joel Embiid with a Little Sixers Camper
Joel Embiid with a Little 76ers Camper

This camp is an introduction to the basic fundamentals of the game. A positive, non-competitive environment to excite campers about the game of basketball. Daily activities will include drills geared toward the beginner with a focus on ball handling, shooting, passing, movement and character development. Each camper will receive a reversible practice jersey along with the official 76ers Camp Certificate of Achievement.

"Little 76ers Showtime"

At the conclusion of each day the campers will show off the basketball skills they have learned in their morning drill sessions. Parents and family members are welcome as we take the last 10 minutes for "Showtime."

Frequently Asked Questions.

For eight or so summers, I had the best times imaginable. The array of campers, counselors, and staff make for such an eclectic environment which is what makes Sixers Camp so unique—especially with the amount of international kids that attended each summer. The camp allows not only for a great platform to garner basketball skills, but a great way to develop relationships.

One of the things I remember most fondly about the 76ers Camp was the chance it gave me to have an identity- both as a person and a basketball player- apart from my older brother Phillip, who also went to the camp. I always loved the chance to compete against him in skills competitions, league games and championships (somehow the occasions when I won stick out more clearly in my mind, funny how that works). More generally, camp gave me the chance to develop my game in a competitive atmosphere that was at once friendly and fierce.
