Dance Camps: Day Camp FAQs
What do all campers receive as part of camp attendance?
All campers receive the following:
• Official Dance Team t-shirt.
• Certificate of Achievement
• Invitation for two to a Sixers preseason game
Is transportation available?
No
What should my child bring to camp each day?
Lunch (including beverage),water bottle and towel. Wear dance pants or shorts, t-shirt, sneakers and socks. Bring jazz shoes or jazz sneakers.
How early can my child arrive and what time must he/she be picked up?
Arrival: 8:45 - 8:55; Departure: promptly at 3:30.
Is pre/post care avaialble?
not at this time.
My child would like to be in the same teaching group as his/her friend?
If age/ability are similar, they are most always assigned to the same teaching group. If not, please tell site Director.
Is the camp very competitive?
No. These are "teaching camps" with focus on skill development.
Are facilities air conditioned?
Some facilities are air conditioned, while others are not. If this is a concern, call the Sixers Camps office.
May I cancel my registration?
Everything but a $150 non-refundable registration fee will be refunded up to May 15, 2013.
Is there any contact with the Sixers Dance team during the school year?
Yes. All campers will be invited (with a parent) to a preseason game at the Wells Fargo Center.
Will I receive a confirmation?
Yes, upon registering you will receive an email confirmation & instruction packet.
